Privacy Policy
MathHero Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and SpeedyMind LLC (Armenia) (each an independent legal entity, individually and collectively referred to in this Policy as "MathHero Studio," "we," "us," or "our") specialize in the development and publication of educational mobile applications. While we collaborate closely and adhere to shared privacy values and standards, each entity operates independently and is solely responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Each entity acts as a data controller for the personal data it collects through the Services it develops and/or publishes.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how information is collected, protected, and used when you use our mobile applications and games (including MathHero) and any related products and services (collectively, the "Services").
Depending on the platform and distribution channel (for example, the entity listed as the developer/publisher on the App Store or Google Play), either entity may act as the controller for that version of the Services.

What Information Do We Collect?
Personal information of adults (including Parents/Guardians)
You can use the core app experience without providing your name or email address. However, we may collect Personal Information from adults if you choose to provide it, including when you:
- email us (support, education, partnerships/press, careers), or
- submit a form in the app or on our website (for example, contact/support forms, school inquiries, partnership inquiries).
This may include your name, email address, and the content of your message, plus any attachments you provide (such as screenshots or receipts).
Personal information of child users
We follow child‑privacy practices designed to reduce data collection. We do not require children to provide direct identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number, or home address) to use the core app experience.
Child profile name / nickname (multi‑profile feature)
The Services may allow a Parent/Guardian to create multiple profiles on a device and enter a profile name or nickname for convenience (for example, to distinguish siblings).
- Profile names/nicknames are used for on‑device organization of profiles.
- We do not transmit profile names/nicknames to our servers unless a Parent/Guardian manually includes such information when contacting us (for example, in a support message).
Services usage information
We collect Usage Information and Device Information such as:
- gameplay progress and settings (e.g., topics selected, difficulty settings),
- features used and time spent,
- app performance diagnostics and crash data.
This information is generally associated with an internal generated ID and/or persistent identifiers and is used to operate and improve the Services.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through third‑party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive limited purchase information needed to provide access (such as subscription status and product identifiers).
How Information Is Collected?
1) Information you provide directly
We collect information you provide when you email us or submit forms (in the app or on our website).
2) Automatically through the Services and device
The Services may automatically generate and collect Usage Information, Device Information, and persistent identifiers for purposes such as functionality, stability, security, and diagnostics.
3) Through service providers (third‑party SDKs)
We use third‑party service providers (such as Google Firebase Analytics, Microsoft Insights analytics and Unity SDK services) solely to support the internal operations of the Services (for example: analytics and diagnostics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and security and integrity). Where these tools collect persistent identifiers (such as device identifiers or IP address), we use them only for the internal operations purposes described above, and not to contact a specific individual, for behavioral advertising, or to build a profile about a specific user.
We seek to ensure, through contractual terms and configuration controls where available, that these providers process information on our behalf, and are restricted from using the data for their own independent advertising or profiling purposes.

The Services may link to external resources (such as our website or social media) and may direct you to third‑party platforms. The Services are downloaded and purchases/subscriptions are processed through third‑party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your interactions with those platforms are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, and we do not control their data collection practices.
